To make a fleece blanket, you will need scissors to cut the shape and size blanket you are looking to make. Standard size fleece blanket is 50x60 or whatever size you like. The fleece fabric comes in rolls that are 60 inches wide. You will need to cut off the edges it usually leaves you with 58 inches. One you have cut the edges then its time to sew the edges. A hem usually is the most common but you can do a 4 stitched over locking type edge this looks great.
